Human Resources Strategy For Researchers (HRS4R)
In 2020, the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague acknowledged the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The Charter and the Code oblige research institutions to create friendly working conditions, support professional development and apply transparent recruitment and selection procedures. It is intended for researchers and employers.
On 4 January 2023, UCT received the "HR Excellence in Research Award" from the European Commission, and the two-year implementation phase is currently underway.
New European Charter for Researchers
On 18 December 2023, the Council of the EU adopted the "Recommendation on a European framework to attract and retain research, innovation and entrepreneurial talents in Europe". It includes a revised European Charter for Researchers /Annex II/ The new version of the Charter is designed in a simplified form to facilitate its implementation and to be used beyond the academic sector.
